17-20 June 2009 | 8:30pm The Treason Show is an international Comedy Sketch Show performed in English and written by a 50 strong team of writers and performed by a pool of award winning performers.  A whole new show is created every month based on what’s making the headlines, international celebrities and of course governments and royalty. With its republican liberal values and love of a good joke The Treason Show attacks the hypocrisy of all of our leaders and pokes fun at the establishment and itself, all at the same time. No one is safe from their comedy assassination. Prime Ministers, presidents, Chancellors, the British Royal Family, European politics and International Celebrities. If it’s in the news it’s in the show! Comedy songs, brilliant sketches and male nudity, a potent mix of legendary English comedy, subversive political satire and a musical virtuosity. The Treason Show has been running monthly at the Komedia in Brighton, England (Best Comedy Venue in the South for the last five years) since June 2000. In that time it has created over 100 brand new shows winning plaudits, critical acclaim and a devoted army of followers.
